to return these boots and, I didn’t BUY ANYTHING else.
Wow, that was quite an accomplishment, especially since there were so many clothes on sale. So that’s $108 back in my checking account. Hopefully it will be enough to tide me over ’til the end of winter break, when this hemorraging of money should cease.

those are gorgeous boots! I’ve tried them on several times at Banana … couldn’t decide whether to buy them or not. And I didn’t. But I think they’ve discounted them to 80 bucks, which is a real steal. I might have to go back and check the price to see if it dropped any lower.
You’re got a lot of self restraint not having bought anything while you were there. That takes a lot of willpower.
Those are absolutely gorgeous … and Congrats on beating the return demon! That’s a toughie!
Congrats on having the willpower to return the boots! I have a pair in black and I can’t fathom returning them…although they are expensive, I try to justify them as an investment that will last for a long time (they hopefully won’t be going out of style any time soon!)
You returned the molten chocolate boots! But hey, you must have decided they didn’t work for you. Good for you for exercising your willpower–it’s so easy to tell yourself, “Well, I already spent the money, so I might as well do an exchange instead of a return.”
ladies – they ARE gorgeous. I wish I can say I returned them because the money would be better served elsewhere and that I didn’t get more clothes because I was STRONG, but, alas, the boots fit funny and I couldn’t find anything I really liked in my size. So, er, there. You guys don’t think any less of me now, do you?
