One more financial goal for 2008…

I want to keep track of all my income and expenses for the year, all neatly recorded in PearBudget so that at the end of the year I can review where my money went and break down every category by percentage of income.

So cool.

Heehee. And since today is the first day of the Rest of Our Lives (or more conventionally, 2008), it’s fitting that now is when I start keeping track of my money. Because, really, I have very little idea of where my money goes.

So, for today I spent a total of $1055.00, that includes rent, student loan repayment, gym cancellation fee (my new job has free gym membership), parking fee, and brunch.
