It’s a balancing act with time versus money, but you could look to see if there is any appeals or other process to dispute the ticket. I did that once and got a parking ticket reduced in half. Took only about 10 minutes to fill out the form and about 30 minutes to attend the hearing. I sort of made up an argument that the signs weren’t clearly “visible” from where i parked the car.
