Tonight I went to Barnes & Noble to study.
During breaks between problem sets, I…
did NOT read Marie Claire or Real Simple or House Beautiful (all magazines I love)
did NOT flip through cook books with pages and pages of photos of delicious foods
did NOT dream about the latest in-style outfits in InStyle
did NOT catch up on Britney Spears’ latest news in US Weekly
did NOT follow the school rankings in US News
What did I do?
I browsed through personal finance and investing books.
Seriously.
Do I need help?

If you’ve found a 12-step program for being a PF nerd, please let me know. I need one, too.
(Everytime I go to a bookstore now, I *ALWAYS* end up in the Finance/Investing section and I just want to buy all the books. Sigh!)
I used to do that. Until I kind of realized that it was all the same advice but packaged differently. Bloggers online give way better, more personal advice that I find more useful
This is a good thing though, PF nerds will rule the world.
Nice! I’ve done that also

When we go to the library the PF section is the first one we check out….
Haha, I think most of us are “guilty” of similar things.
LOL! I found myself doing something similar last weekend. I alway check out a book on tape from the library for the 4 hour drive (each way) to my sister’s house. This time I ended up getting a Suze Orman finance book. Looks like I’m getting sucked in, too!
Sounds like the kind of thing I do! The other day I found myself absolutely engrossed in the free magazine that my bank sends me every month… Geek! By the way, loving your blog, I added you to my ‘roll, hope that’s ok!
