With reference to #3, I agree completely. Sending a card or some other paper message is much more uncommon today because of electronic communication. Sending a card has become even more special!

I want nice stationery (I adore your hint for remembering which is which!). I want to buy monogrammed (or my full name!) cards to use for all occasions: writing letters, writing thank-you notes, and whatever else one may need to write notes for.

I bought a set of monogrammed stationery when I graduated from college- I use them mainly as thank you notes but I think I could use them for other things as well, such as inserts in a package or something like that. I bought them from American Stationery, very resonably priced too!

First of all, brilliant way to remember the difference between stationary and stationery!

Second, don't know if you read her, but Mrs. Accountability at Out of Debt Again just wrote about finding affordable thank you notes. I think about four posts ago?
