Jim and Pam’s wedding, of course!

I thought Thursdy’s episode was pretty close to perfect. And the way that Jim and Pam looks at each other? Just, wow. I don’t think two people has portrayed a modern, healthy relationship that’s full of quirks and love and support so well. I know these are fictional characters, and yet I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited about a wedding as I was for the marriage ceremony of Ms. Beesley to Mr. Halpert.
Jim’s speech to Pam at the rehearsal dinner was also just perfect (except for that little slip to grandma, oops!):
Four years ago, I was just a guy, who had a crush on a girl, who had a boyfriend and I had to do the hardest thing that I ever had to do, which was just to wait. For a really long time, that’s all I had; just little moments with a girl, who saw me as a friend and a lot of people told me I was crazy to wait this long for a date with a girl who I worked with. But I think, even then, I knew I was waiting for my wife.

OMG. That was SUCH a good episode. I laughed. I cried. I cringed. Where do I find my Jim????
I was embarassed by how excited I was for the Jim & Pam wedding. I also liked how Pam was really hinting about how thye needed cash.
I was lucky that we only got 1 off-registry gift: an Amish-made checkerboard. I don’t even know how to play checkers! Since then, though, I have visions of Chad & me sipping hot chocolate and plaing it, even though we’re probably more likely to play video games!
Ditto, meinmillions!! I don’t think I’ve ever been happier for a ficitonal couple…I don’t think I was as touched at some of my *real* friends’ weddings!
Also, my (frugal) JK/Jim can show up any day now.
Yes, can I order a Jim perhaps? He’s so fantastic. I would love someone to look at me like he looks at Pam. =)
My favorite part was the mental pictures they kept taking. I just kept tearing up it was so beautiful. I had a discussion at work on how I felt that Jim may be ruining it for all the guys out there, who may have a difficult time expressing their emotions. But, it did give the ladies something sweet to swoon over.
And Jim, well really JAM, they are swoon-worthy.
Love the mental pictures. And the spontaneous cutting-off-of-the-tie.
I’m new to the Office, but I LOVE it still and I loved this episode. Fun times!
